COGS Geo-Exploration: Flatiron Rock in the Oregon Badlands

Wednesday, December 1, 9:30 am – 3:00 pm
Hike a 6 mile out and back with minimal elevation change to examine deposits of Mazama Ash, examples of lava flow textures and discuss the origin of Flatiron Rock. As a reminder, all participants are required to be fully vaccinated and must be a COGS member or a guest of one.
